It's nice to see what I might be producing in 50 years if I put in about 18 hrs a day practice.
Well done ! |

So the major feature of this image was drawn via Photoshop? Congrats on your ribbon but I wish these challenges remained primarily photographic.
eta: yes, skillfully done

Definitely one of my favorites and no surprise to see it in one of the top spots. Maybe you should try working without a final image in mind more often :) Congratulations on the blue. |

Congratulations Samantha!
Despite the comments saying it could have been one of my pictures, let me tell you they are wrong. There are many things I would have done differently: you definitely do have a style of your own, no discussion about that! I am also very glad that you, Judi, Jen, Lydia, Alex, Minso, and many others are really pulling DPC up, towards better processing skills: while I personally don't care much about the website old interface, I do believe that good photos can only benefit from good post-processing (see 1X, 500px, DeviantArt, etc.), which implies mastering the tools of the trade. DPC was lacking in that regard in my opinion, and this wave of change is for the best!
So thanks for your hard work, please continue! And to the next challenge! I can't refuse the invitation you sent me in your comment ;-) |

This is spot on with the Dreamy/fairy tale/Disney feel. The colors - green purple/blues remind me in a big way of My daughter's Tinkerbell movies and style, and that seals the creative deal. Excellent work, congrats. |

This really shows what someone with a vision and talent can do with expert editing. I'd be surprised if this didn't ribbon, and I expect it to be blue.
If this isn't Gyaban, then take the fact it makes me think of his work as a very high compliment! |

Wow! Fantastic work here. This photo-manip takes on the aspect of a colorful children's book illustration! Love all the vibrant and bold colors of this composition. I love the POV you chose to present the Jack and the Beanstalk. We don't have to get a sense of height by physically having to look up directly - you present the height from an angle that extends from the lower left and extends up on the diagonal to pierce the sky in the top right corner. You also give us a sense of scale with Jack scaling the beanstalk with his lantern in hand. Fabulous work here....will easily make the top ten. |
