 My beautiful son and our new cat. It was his idea for the pic and the title. If I wasn't worried about the editing rules, the top left corner would be cloned out. That's part of his arm steadying the cat on his head lol

Disappointed by the score but not really surprised by it. Should have used dog feet instead.

Re the comment about the catch-lights in his eyes: That is light coming in from the door. Those bright spots are one of the reasons why I chose this photo. I just don't feel all that distracted by them :)

They are growing up. Damn it, this wasn't supposed to happen.

What Deb said. Full of warmth. And I like the vertical catchlight. It nicely complements the paws.

This is really quite beautiful. First of all, your son has the most wonderful smile and incredibly warm and friendly eyes. And that sprinkling of freckles. But the cats' paws really make the shot delightful. I do like the full shot you have on FB, but this one is just delightful. Too bad DPC has lost it's collective imagination and sense of wonder.

Skin tones are terrific, bright reflections in eyes are very distracting - should have shot at a different angle to reduce the mirror effect.
