I've been staring at this for a long time now and I still can't figure out what the usual object is, let alone its unusual use.

I'll be completely honest. I don't get it at all. It resembles a pumpkin tea pot with a human-plant-jesus planted inside. And why is it shattered?
If I may be so bold, if the objects were not made from fragments of the human body, it would be an otherwise terrible picture. I appreciate the imagination and work involved, but it doesn't do anything for me. Maybe that's purely because I can't figure out what it's trying to say. It don't see any message or story here. Just a jumble of random stuff.
However, whatever it is, it looks like it took a ton of work. I'd love to see more of an explanation of what you feel it is in your comments. Kudos for making the vast population stare in wonder! |

| Great work Judi, I really like this one. Great concept. It's a shame challenges are still limited to 800 pixels, I hope this will be raised soon so that entries with that much details could benefit from it. Congratulations on your ribbon. |

Very complex image, with a lot of interesting pieces to put together. Although I appreciate the skill demonstrated here, I found other, more traditionally photographic entries, to be better.
All the same, this was an 8 for me. |

| The lighting, as usual, is phenomenal, although I would argue that there are two light sources happening - from above, and from upper left. Your attention to detail is stupefying. Love the doily bg. |

There's so much going on in this image, i keep looking around to find more, i love it!!!
I'm now unsure whether it's this image or the first one that i thought was Gyaban... either way this is fantastic! I love the little bits of people everywhere. If there's a larger version of this kicking around i'd love to see it to get more of the detail. 800px really hurts this image in that it's impossible for the viewers to really get all the detail that you put the effort into this image!
Easily a 10 and hopefully a top 3 finisher! |
