I love going to this spot, and I do have a few previous photos from near here.
PS: cropped, lightened the middle ranges with LEVELS, burned the mountains a bit, dodged those lower clouds just a tad, increased saturation by about 10%, increased saturation of the water another 10%. cleaned it up a bit, sharpened, thought it was still too dark, so I raised the middle slider again. Liked it, resized, sharpened again, posted. |

| I really like this image, but when my eye was looking for a catching point it was led to the boat hook - and it doesn't add as a catching point to your image. If there had have been a boat that was moored to it I would have rated it much higher. You've also got a bit of a slant on your image. |

| it's a lovely shot, no question. the colours seem a little bit washed out though. don't know if the contrast wants upping or what (i'm not remotely technically minded) but for me, i don't know, i think the greens don't look green enough. mountains are captured well though, and looks especially majestic. 8. |
