While looking around for a blue architectural structure I stumble onto one of the most important of all buildings. Its
distinctive shape and bright blue color announce both its purpose and significance.

Thanks for the critique. I appreciate you taking the time. I agree with your suggestions and with keep them in mind in the future. I took this shot while driving by (actually driving) on a not-so-busy street. Two workers came rushing out to see what was happening so I decided not to try a second shot. :) The next day the blue building had been moved.

Still I'm happy that so many saw humor in the shot.

**Greetings from the Critique Club**

Certainly a humorous shot. A few things come to mind that I think would improve the shot. I'll make the assumptions that this was a quick shot as you were passing by, so things such as time of day may not have been something you could control.

I'm also not familiar with the surroundings, so I'm not sure if anything I'm about to say would be practical. So, take it for what its worth in that context. :)

A shot slightly zoomed out showing some of its surroundings would make it a little more appealing. Not too much to make it small but to give it a little head room. In addition, a vertical shot may enhance the central object. Finally, were there any other angles available? Something a little less flat on and showing more depth would add as well.

I like the way you think. I wonder how my own recent porta potty shot would have done in this challenge?

Super-funny!!! Should have shot from down low looking up and rotated so the commode was more on a 45 degree angle to you. Would have added that "strength" of an architecture shot!

I'm pretty sure Frank Lloyd Wright is rolling in his grave right now...
