 I have about a gazillion butterflies visiting me every day; they inspired me to try for a flight shot. Would've liked a pretty blue sky and some puffy clouds in the background but Nature did not provide one. But it's a Great Spangled Fritillary. I like saying that ;-)

PP - rotated a bit, cropped, increased saturation and contrast, dodged butterfly bits, blurred background a bit more, touched up dark line in background, resized, sharpened, blurred sharpening artifacts, added border.

great capture of an inflight butterfly, not an easy thing to do, lovely bokeh as well

Is this a very close crop? The pixels seem to be showing. Could be just pp.

Oh so much better than all the other "float like a buttlerfly....." photos because this one is actually floating. If only it had more clarity!
