 Thanks to everyone that took the time to vote and comment.

Sort of a last minute entry. Decided to take a stroll along the shore and see what I could find. I was expecting it to finish right at tiny violin level so happy it did a bit better than that. It was disappointing for it to drop from 6.47 to 6.16 in the last 24 hours though...oh well.

The light, color and, of course, shutter speed work wonders here to turn this discarded tire into a thing of shimmering beauty. Voted earlier.

I like the view point here. Only thing I would consider changing would be to crop out the break in the surf at the top.

I really like this with one nit pik, I find the sliver of sky to be a real distraction and would have cropped it down just slightly. Other than that I love the composition and the tire adds a lot to the story of the image and the motion blur of the water is perfectly handled. Nice shot good luck in the challenge. 7
