 Just after sunset at Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach OR. Not your typical Cannon Beach picture, the iconic haystack rock is just to my right.

This was my first attempt at long exposures of waves and was more difficult then I expected. I was about 7" deep in the water depending on the wave sizes and the tripod kept sinking into the sand as the waves went out.

I'm overjoyed with this score! A new PB! Thank you everyone for all the kind comments.

A nice unique perspective. My negative comment though is regarding the focus. Seems a bit soft. Maybe a little sharpening could bring it back, as it doesn't look too far gone. Great colors otherwise.

Congrats on the red. The two monoliths looked familiar but the foreground rocks threw me off. I'm thinking this is way low tide. Absolutely a great perspective and great shot.

yes nice, but just very typical of a beach shot to really get me excited, still I guessed the voters loved it enough, 6 from me!
