 These shot glasses have blue limescale remover, yellow toilet cleaner and redcurrant juice in them (I didn't want to waste any real alcohol). I lit the shot with a table lamp and used photo paper as the surface they are on. The lens was a 55mm canon.

This is a stunning photo. Great concept and dazzling execution. Your comments made me laugh. A sense of humor and amazing talent. Very nice.

I just read the other comments and I have to add that I really think the amber background is perfect for this shot (forgive the pun). So many alcoholic beverages are in that color range. The richness of the color also adds to the warmth and to me parallels that warm feeling one gets after a drink or two.

whew! after browsing the entries i finally found the image the conformed with the theme, most of the entries are not backlighted. the concept is a little cliche, but its still great for me, the lighting is really great, and i like for using the different colours....i hope this make it to the circle of three,good luck for your finework...congrats. 10!!!!

I love the use of the primary colors here. The background you chose however, in my opinion, is a little strong and tends to wash out the effect you were going for. I think maybe a whiter background would have really clarified this shot and given it the "wow" factor it could have used. Still, it's a great idea, very nicely composed, and nicely lit.

I love the composition and angle, could have been a little sharper and to be real picky I don't like the shadow above the centre glass but overal very nice.
