This is Minerva, a young captive Barn Owl.She was so interested in my camera, she was turning her head back & forth and just flipped it upside down!

Great capture! Beautiful bird anyway, but with her head like that she is so engaging.

As I said before - it is amazing what nature can do. Great capture on a rarely seen moment. I knew owls could turn heads but who knew an owl could turn their head upside down. Showed this to my kids and their response was surprised "What!" "Why does it do that!":-)
