 I took this picture early morning at 7:59:37 to be exact (which is usually very bright already from where I come from) and yet the sun was partially covered by the dark clouds giving a soft warm nice light. The picture was shot entirely of ambient light and this picture is straight out of the camera.

At first what caught my eye was the grass being blown by the wind and the light was hitting it just right. I took a few snap shots and it was boring.Then I saw my dog walking sniffing around the grass and she was nicely backlit. So I use the grass as a foreground. I took the composition like this to get the feeling of an adventurer or explorer looking at an wild animal feel.

To further enhance the mood the shot was taken one stop under.
