I like this picture. However, there are several elements competing for attention. The fence leads you to the couple, but then wants to lead you on to the tunnel. The couple points out of the picture at an unseen object of interest. The mountain ridge in the background competes with the rest of the picture. None of this is fatal, but is there to see. From the shadows, it appears that the picture was taken around mid-day, which tends to make landscapes look flat. The haze in the valley works to give depth, (other wise the tunnel and the background would run together), but were the picture taken early in the day or late in the afternoon, you could have filtered out the haze and gotten a good idea of depth.
Lighting is good, contrast is very good (you can see the details in all the light and dark areas, nothing is hidden or blown out.) Focus is good, cropping is excellent. With a bit of a different pose of the couple, and no haze, I could see this as a postcard for the area.

This is an especially nice photo, not an attention grabbing, "wow" of a 10, but exceptionally good. I especially like the contrast of the clean, clear colors of the close by shrubbery and trees, versus the haze hanging over the surround, further away, greenery. Everything technical is very good. Worthy of an 8. PTL |

A little too bright for my taste, edges of the mountains are fuzzy. Nice capture of the couple, though. |

One of the first true photo types I generally expected to see. Very well balanced! My only suggestion would have been to edit the gamma/saturation/contrast so as to tone down the valley haze and reduce the brightness of the sky. Still excellent! |

I think it's a good idea but has room for improvement. If you had moved over to the right perhaps about 10 feet, and exposed the photo so that the mountains were darker I think it would look better. |
