 I found the contrast on a shopping bag wonderful and decided to build my entry around it. Set up some diffused lighting and took a few test shots.The red and clear wine glass is a Godiva crystal that I found at a thrift store and I felt it suited this challenge.
Processed it in RAW light, color, contrast.Darkening the colors, especially the blue to make the reflection on the glass less visible. Cropped to balance the overall picture. The reflections in the red part of the glass are intentional, the ones in the stem, not so much...:(

I thought this was a very classy entry and gave it one of my few 9's. Thought it would finish higher.

I like the idea, the execution in general; I am not mad about the crop, or perhaps leave the crop but turn it 180 to have the red at the bottom ... for me something doesn't work with your composition.
