| Looked at the color as well and much prefer the B & W version. Beautiful picture, well done and sooooo mysterious which it loses in the color version. |

Very nice detail and clarity. The eyes lead me to the left where the frame ends. I would have liked to see more frame to the left of her 'gaze.' Nice shot... one of my favorites this week!

I've seen the colour version of this (I'm *devious* like that ;) ) which is absolutely breathtaking. Would be an 11 if you could have entered it.
I don't think B&W does this any favours, but those eyes are still stunning, and the lighting, focus & detail are all spot on. The scarf frames the eyes beautifuly and adds to the composition.
Awesome work, but please show everyone the colour version after the challenge. |

Even without color this picture has a very strong impact and the lighting looks more balanced (the red in the original I have seen was so strong that it blew away the texture at the bottom-middle to the bottom right and right of the right eye).
