 The kids and one of their friends and i went out geocaching this morning down by Big Walnut Creek. After finding the cache I let them spend some quality time in the creek. Shot this with instagram on my iphone. One of the things that bugs me about instagram is that I can take a picture but then I have to hold the phone still for a second or two as it seems to take a second picture and discards the first. So what seems like a shutter action is really just a precursor to the actual shutter action. Screwed up many a shot this way. This is the result of one of those goof ups. I had all three of them composed in the image and didnt realize it had glitched until after I actually posted it to Facebook. But you know what? I really like it. Had I not shot it in instagram and rather with the native camera app this would be my free study for July. I like it that much. Oh well. I am sure I will come up with something just as blurry.

You should see if there's a band called shell hunters. Can't think of a better photo for the album.

I'm impressed that you like this photo. It's quite chaotic, with nothing going on at the center of the photo.

I really like the crop. Don't need the heads to tell the story. Nice shadow and nice diagonal created by the water's edge. And I like the circles in the water in the upper left. Very nice capture of children doing a childish thing - nostalgic.
