Sunshine in the morning. It's peaceful and calm... I can imagine that person drinking in the warmth and feeling as if they could take the whole of the city on. What a rush.

I expected there would be those who didn't see it that way. Most, even. That's okay. To me it's zen... and it's focused.

Nice textures in the buildings and fence. A complex cityscape simplified to a feeling. Very nice.

Hard lines and shapes transformed into soft, smeared charcoal. Chaos goes quiet, if only for a moment. That's some powerful zen. Love it.

this strikes me as the polar opposite of zen. frenetic, urban, non-soothing. abstract to the point of challenging my imagination as opposed to relaxing me. don't get me wrong - i love the image - but personally feel that it doesn't come close to meeting the challenge.
