 So it is the last day of voting and I have climbed up to a 6.13. Really quite surprised with that but I won't complain. And with thirteen comments and a fave to boot. The response to the work I have been doing (and really it is all so far from work) has been very encouraging. Thank you all for that.


And the I would like to highlight the freedom that has come from me using both the lens baby and my phone camera. These have been my go to pieces for a while now and I am slowly grasping what each can do and what each allows me to capture. Both allow me to see differently, more in the moment, trapped less by the goal of perfection and precision and freed to grasp what is already there right in front of me. Probably won't ever wina ribbon again. I may actually be in my longest slump ever. But man am I happy with the images I am catching.

And now I have an iPad to play with. Let's see what kind of crap I can push out with this bad boy. ;)

as one of your 10's I can only whine about the usual lack of scoring on any art piece. the commercial/stock folks just dont get images like this. regardless, congrats!

Love how they're oblivious to the camera... So innocent and natural. The slight motion and bokeh are a great touch, it makes the image even more captivating.
