 A juvenile Red Tail Hawk that recently fledged, lifts off from the top of a Civil War Memorial statue on the Parkway in Philadelphia, PA. This is one of 3 siblings that was born and raised by wild parents in a non captive environment on a window ledge of the Franklin Institute.

Great launch capture. Nice timing. This is a light, western Red-tailed Hawk. The patagial mark is the key field indicator.8
