This image was clearly a AF mistake. I love the way it turned out because this what it really looks like when you are getting a face full of dirt on the track!

I love this... but... not for this challenge.

The foreground stuff is all in focus. The subject is the background...

So... I'm lost about how this meets the challenge.

But... I'm... (commenting only)

great capture. originally was going to give this my top score, bu then i notices that the foreground mud wasn't really bokeh and nothing in the background was in focus. still a 7!

like this. almost feels like the mud is on the lens..maybe...but plenty of bokeh mud too....nice one. it's great that the mud is in focus in the mid range and the rider is oof definitely gives the picture more of a three dimensional feel.

I like the image a lot, but I think what I'm liking is the foreground mud that's actually in focus. There is some that's OOF, too, so I'm not saying this is DNMC, just that the foreground bokeh is not what is making the shot for me.

I hope you didn't wear too much of that mud! Cool picture.

Really cool image. The background bokeh is great as it islotes the rider and the backdrop from the foreground dirt. The foreground bokeh is either missing or incidental to the imapct of the image. Did you lens get clobbered by the dirt?

Great shot! Not much in the way of foreground bokeh, but that doesn't matter. Nice creativity.
