I wish the buried fence had a bit of open sand above it to separate it out from the grass, i think it would make a much stronger composition. There is a lovely set of lights and textures in the lower half of the image, but the upper half is so blocky and blotchy, its part of the story could be told in much less space. |

Funny, the lighting almost makes this look like a studio shot! I really love the lighting and the feel here, although I wish the slats were not in the dark. |

The mirroroing of the fence line and the grasses behind, where triangles are repeated throughout gives this image a complete and balanced feel.
The processing is rich, yet subtle.
it is a very good image and i could easily see this on a nice big wall in someones beach bungalow |

A much different feel than your entry. Nice pattern of the fence sinking into the sand. Might have outscored your entry. |

I think this is very arty and nice, Penny. I like the simplicity of the composition and the depth of field that emphasizes the textures of the sand. I would have scored it higher than I did your entry. |
