Not ordinarily a city scape fan, but this is nicely done. Good job. |

you've caught the sparkle of a city scape -- long format is just right. one of my favorites this challenge |

Ahhh, someone went to TI with a tripod. good shot. (Do you also have one with the bay bridge on the left?) Never mind, this will do nicely! 10 |

Nice clear shot. Colours are a bit dull but it's well composed and I do love this city. My brother may be in that shot somewhere!... |

great skyline shot - it's just a pity you're limited to 640 pixels... very tourist guide friendly picture, so certainly fits the challenge. 8. |

This is a beautiful photo, I assume from Treasure Island. It actually looks like the shot might benefit from a little more light, either by adjusting the ISO or shutter time. That would make the buildings shine more with more colors and might show some of the water reflections. Of course, it's not easy to get a clear night here in the summer, so light can be pretty hard to come by. :-) |

Could certainly see this in a guide - though I'd perhaps want something a touch more distinctive than a simple skyline - so many sea cities have something similar. Technically, faultless, but not quite specific enough, if you follow me. |

I really like this shot except for the soft focus on it, although I realize that the fog probably had something to do with that. The skyline also looks a little of kilter to me.
I'd also have maybe tried another angle to bring the Trans-America building more into the shot. It's cliche to have it as a focal point, I know, but to have it sitting at the edge kind of diminishes the strength of the skyline.. in my opinion.
It's an excellent attempt, and I'd love to see more work on the skyline in the future :) |
