Thinking that y'all are wondering where the sand is? This is a stone wall, plastered with sand. Whitewashed, then scratched/marked by tourists. So all red portions are sand. So weathered, one can scratch one's name with fingernails.

I first thought this was Ammie's entry as I knew it was from South Africa. The South African clue to me is the name "Willemien" which is a name found only in South Africa and is the Afrikaans way of spelling it. (In Holland it's Wilhelmina or Wildemien)
Nice but finished below it's true potential.
