10 June Looks as if it's going to the top of my profile page. Will it ribbon? There are so many wonderful images, I doubt it will.
As Fred commented: My faithful and loyal shep, Patrys, (medium size game bird and don't ask me why)posing. She knows what I want and always comes to the party.

Falling now and I doubt it will be the PB I'd hoped for. With 11 positive comments it seems as if most voters love my dog!
I think I know who stabbed this image with a 2 vote. It happened right at the end. Must've recognised the dog!

I LOVE that burst!

Falling scores happen to all of the tops at the last, I think.

I wish people would just be honest and vote the image without trying to "play" the system.

Wow! This is so amazing, Ammie! It makes me so mad when people come in at the end and trash the most likely contenders. I think this one definitely deserves a ribbon!

Hey Ammie - I was one of your tens - it was one of my two favorite images in the challenge. The pooch gave it so much more depth than just a landscape. For a tough challenge, I thought it was brilliant! Congrats on the HM

Good wide angle technique and offbeat high angle of view makes surprisingly effective use of the sun.

Going to guess it is Ammie. Getting to know those ploughed fields, mountains, gorgeous golden light... oh and that German Shephard from that 49 steps (I think) challenge!
Super shot Amanda and for minimal editing you have handled the lighting very well. I'm sure some others will moan about that dark area in the top right but it doesnt really bother me because its hardly noticable.

Definitely wide angle look. Great detail. Nice sun star rays. Love the perspective and the distant detail. I'm sorry about the upper right corner thing. Clever to achieve detail on the shaded side of the dog while aiming at the sun. Must have used a fill flash, which was inspired and creative. 8
