posing looks stiff, and a bit unnatural. balance between foreground and background is nice though

Thats a sweet picture, and I think I like it alot. It makes me think college, seperate schools, and sneaking outside to meet one another and then saying goodbye. I can just think of a little plot in my head, I love pictures like that. Good job.

What happened to the colors? Maybe more saturation would be better...

Someone told me this once, and I've found it to be true: when cropping the human body, it always looks better if you avoid cropping near a joint. In this case, they are so low in the frame that it would make much more sense if you could gett all the way to their feet in the shot, but if you couldn't get any farther back, the next best think would be to crop at mid-thigh. It also looks a little dead at this level of saturation. It would be improved a lot by either increasing saturation or converting to sepia or black and white.

I like the idea... it might have been better cropping either higher up or else keeping the rest of the legs (all the way to the feet) in the scene. It's generally a no-no cropping mid-calf. Good luck on the challenge.

nice use of the frame and I love the atmosphere the colors create, but where are their feet?

I am ambivalent about this. I like the setting and the romantic mood especially brought about by the desaturation. I would have placed the models more behind the arch to really frame them. As it is, IMHO, the tree and the building are the ones framed. But that is just me.

Well, there is kind of a frame so I give you that. The colors are really washed out looking, which detracts from the photo to me

The wording for this challenge was vague at best, so I am struggling to be fair. This is a lovely photograph, but the way I understand the challenge it doesn't fit. But I do like the photograph!
