 Across the street from my office was an old brick building, once a factory that made globes. It at least had a bit of character. However, the brick building was razed. Now they are putting up a giant pet supply store. The walls went up quickly - 30' slabs of prefab concrete. It is gigantic concrete box -- ugly as sin. Getting into my car of Friday I was intrigued by the intersecting lines and planes and the texture of the concrete. So I grabbed my camera.

Of my abstract candidates this is the one I find most compelling. Let's see if I am the only one. Wouldn't surprise me.

Like the architectural geometry. Wish there were a tiny bit more detail visible in the shadow areas (and yes, my monitor is calibrated). Good subject for an abstract.
