 I went down to the Swan River on the Applecross foreshore, whilst taking photos for the "Autumn" challenge, and there were loads of birds on the jetty, but it was this Pelican that attracted me the most, for the half an hour or so that I was there, he did not move from this lamp post, perched high above the jetty, he was as happy as Larry.

Australian pelicans are the best aren't they? They sit on the lights like that in Queenscliff, too - I guess they do it wherever there are nice sturdy lights.

Ha! I love this! Especially the processing and the tilt.

There are halos around it all... as if you blurred the background and the mask wasn't quite right.

I love the colors and your composition, but I think those halos will significantly lower your score on this. I'm bummed for you about that.
