 A vision of the future?
Does global warming really exist?
Are the world's ocean levels truly rising?
Was this image influenced by my love of 1970s prog rock album covers?
Did I spend too much time on it?

On the whole, it's probably better not to ask those questions.

Just returned from a trip abroad so would like to belatedly thank all those who commented and voted on this image.

It's a composite of 12 images.
The flying thing is an entity from my imagination and is essentially a type of artificial life based on a flying fish and built from available material - mainly junk. It is able to live in air, sea and land environments.

Rather spookily, in the last week, the U.K. has suffered the heaviest rainfall since records began.

Very creative. Being picky there is a big discrepancy between the light on the person and newspaper and the light in the rest of the scene. The flatness of the latter makes it seem like a painted stage backdrop. But I'm still impressed with the effort that must have gone into making this.
