 Quite smart, I think. A seed, backlight via the sun directly behind the seed, creating both the flare and sunspot on the seed. B&W with the sliders in the opposite direction as normal. Sharpen, Curves I think. No other PP.

This at first confused me, I have studied it and realize the abstract meaning of the over-all image. Very creative
