I really would have preferred the background without the grid - but the image is great: lighting , colors and all |

Even if the light is not exceptional the originality of the photo let it be very interesting |

the green tinge to the shadow is an interesting effect. A stern face indeed. |

Close likness to.... Nurse Mildred Ratched. Interesting colour, but to me stern may have attributes which have cooler tones. High score for this hooded face. |

I like this photo. The eyes are little uneven, maybe because there is more light on the right eye than the left. Great photo. |

I adore this picture! The green is a bit too pronounced, but otherwise it is great. |

very original way to interpret the challenge. I am not too crazy about the green cast, I think it could have been stronger with some fiddeling with the levels/channels or even in black and white. Still 8. |

This is a great photo! It is definitely borderline as far as meeting the challenge, but This photo is too good to count down for it. Great tones, great expression, I don't see any room for improvement on this. |

Such a pretty model, maybe it would be better titled "Joy" with a smile on her face. It is still an excellent shot, one to be proud of! |

I like the yellowish tone on the skin but find the greenish shadows unnatural. Great expression. |

Some people may not like this because it isn't a normal/typical frame, but I do. Not quite sure on the green tint, I think it should be deep purple. JK =). Black and white may look nice too, but green is different. Great emotion, fitting title, technically flawless (that I can see) besides it not being deep purple. No, really, nice image. |

I don't much care for the style of this picture but have to give credit where credit is due. It nicely meets the challenge. It is technically virtually flawless. And it carries a nice emotional punch. Among my top picks this time out. (9) |

well done portrait that meets the challenge theme; I'm getting a greenish cast around the face which distracts. |

I don't know if the color cast was purposeful, but I would have liked this shot better without so much green tone in it. |
