 Playing around with my new macro lens in the garden. The flowers are all beginning to bloom and it has been an excellent opportunity to experiment and practice with the subject distances and aperture settings. Unfortunately, it has been unendingly (I know, not a real word) breezy so a lot of time has been spent waiting for a second of calm. This shot came just as a ray of sunlight broke through the avocado tree above.

Post editing in the trial version of Photoshop CS6: curves layer, then above that a Color Lookup layer set to "Device Link" and "RedBlueYellow". The crop was really a challenge because the bottom edge of the frame was unfortunately where you see it now. It came down to how you wanted to see on either side.
