Hi Lydia ! thought i'd leave you my thoughts on this as you always seem kind enough to leave other people comments :-) i gave this a six because technically theres nothing wrong with it, it's well focussed and well lit. However I don't think the hand goes with the image, the grainy effect makes it look like it was taken with a phone camera or similar and added in, whereas the girls face looks like it was shot with a dslr and studio lighting ! maybe use body paint instead ? i dont like the background so much either, the window is really distracting the horizontal window frame cuts right through her head ! I think this would of done better (and it's only my opinion im no expert !) if you'd taken the idea away from a comfy sit on the couch ! maybe your model could of pulled a menacing face and wore a hoodie ? and then dropped into a night shot of your local city as the back drop ? i'm thinking the girl with upside down face strolling through the city waiting to pounce on her next victim ! i liked the initial idea though, hope some of that is helpful ! in a nutshell i loved the idea, don't like the hand or the window !

| LOL Oh so weird!!! I haven't been around lately, Hubs decided to Remodle kitchen... I've got the job of sanding and faux painting 100+ cabient doors, drawers, and outsides... My hand is killing me. Shot a rodeo Sat that went from 8am to 11pm that pretty much did me totaly... Found one for the end of month (not rodeo) thats all... But couldn't resist to stop and tell you ..... Your a Freak!!!! and I love it! |
