Using a 500mm for food photography is certainly an interesting approach, but I like your dedication!
The lens works well for making the subject melt into the background very nicely.
Also, looking at the thumbnail, it looked initially like a gigantic popped popcorn kernel. |

yeah great composition but you must've been at least ... 100 meters away? :D
Personally i'd've gone a touch darker but that seems to be my preference with photos |

It looks SO delicious! Crazy shot with the super long telephoto, but hey, whatever works!

i'm on a diet and hungry...not a good photo to be looking at right about now :)

Just seems so ridiculous to be taking these staged dessert shots with that lens. Assuming you're not cropping, as was the original intention, you'd be three houses away.
My boring, plain raspberries no longer look as appealing anymore. |
