If you live in the south you probably know what these are. In the summer time I get about 5 billion of these in my backyard, all rubbing their legs and making ungodly noises. They are called True Katydid, which look like grasshoppers if you stuck a leaf on its back. They are suppose to reside in trees but apparently about 50 of them prefer my porch instead. This is one such critter.

I thought this was a winner the instant I saw it. Plastic bug? Who cares? What an amazing photo!!! voted earlier. I'm also doing very well in my challenge. All time PB for me. Once again, blue ribbon in my opinion. Have a favorite from me!!
