| Shallow depth of field was not really his thing, but it's a nice shot. |

| This is a perspective that can be very effective, but for me it is not, here. Maybe that's because the focus is too soft, perhaps another tree would have given you more opportunity to show a nice range of tones in the branches. The patterns and textures of the bark across the mid-section are nice . . . |

| Very interesting POV. The blurry foreground is a little distracting. I think this would have benefitted from a lower aperture or if the very bottom of the frame were cropped up. Still, it's a nice shot with interesting textures! (voted earlier) |

| Interesting POV. I'd like the image more if the bottom 25% was in focus, too. Nice detail in the bark in the center middle. |
