A brave entry, I don't know enough about AAs portrait work to comment on that aspect of it, I can however say that it is a very nicely executed shot. |

Bravo for going the portrait route in this challenge - subject, angle of head, expression and treatment all look very Ansel-like to me. One of my top 10. |

Nice go at AA's portrait style. I like the grey's and I think you did good with the light and shadow. AA's portrait subjects always remind me of my high school shop teachers... Old guy with a brill cream hairdo in a lab coat or plain shirt with thick rimmmed black glasses. I see you went with the brill cream hairdo and the plain style shirt! lol! |
