Great shot of the moom, with pretty amazing detail relative to what I usually get from my lenses. But, I am having a bit of trouble thinking of this as a travel guide, and science project, even with the support of your title. |

Wow - you must have a great lens (or telecsope!). |

Not much guidance here then - "sort your own travel - dunno how to get there"! : )
Looks like a very unusual destination though and definitley unique in the challenge. |

Great moon shot. You picked a good night. It is just breathless. |

winner for strangest take on the challenge? don't know. erm, nice shot of the moon. must admit in my local borders i haven't seen many travel guides pertaining to other planetary bodies, but that's not to say you're not (a millenia) ahead of your time. it's nice and detailed, though the centred composition is a bit too in your face for my personal likings. 7. |

Nice image for a brochure about a night at the observatory. Probably not too realistic as a true travel destination. Fortunately, probably not everyone rates as drastically as I do for "truth in advertising". Good luck with it. |

You knew you were going to be hammered when you entered this photo. Although it is a good photo of the moon, I could not see it in a travel book. The yellow halo around the bottom keeps distracting me, as does the graininess. |

Some people are just 100 years before their time. It's great image, but not in a travel guide quite yet. |

This would be even more stunning with a red tint. |

Nice and up close, I think converting this to B/W would have eliminated the color noise on the moon. |
