Very nice light. You might want to try cropping just a bit more off the top, though. If you cropped down to the lowest semi-circle of the yellow band, you would retain the impression of sunshine (especially with all the nice light rays) without having to contend with the blown gray sun blob, or the impression that the image is tilted. One of the true beauties of the Grand Canyon is the variety of colors which shimmer in the light. I don't know if you could bring back some of those colors through your tone-mapping, but if you could, you would have a spectacular effect. With a few more tweaks, this could be off the charts outstanding. |

Love the perspective and light. I'm not a fan of the way the processing has affected the sun so that its a greyish blob, I think blown highlight is perfectly ok when the sun is in the frame. |
