 My daughter Caitlin 11 in my wife's wedding dress in the grave yard of the church in which we were married.

I have tried to reproduce a Wet Plate Collodion style photo, as photographs of ghosts deserve a little history. The early days of photography were a wonderful playground for the 'pullers of one's leg' and what better way to celebrate their leg pulling.

Simple set up and edit...

Photo of scene without Caitlin
Photo of scene with Caitlin - reduce opacity
Overlay 'wet plate' layer - reduce opacity
Add vignette (using Tilt-Shift App of Mac)
Gradient Map + Colorize in CS5 (colorize 42 25 I think)
Burn grave stone
Re-size and save as JPEG

One of my favorites. I would say make the girl a little more tranparent so it looks less like an old photo and more like an old photo with a ghost. I'm talking one or two percent more nothing drastic.

This is awesome. I love how you made it look like an old photograph. This image was meant for this challenge.

This shot is one of my top 3 shots although I feel others may not think it fits DPC the best. I hope not.
