Congratulations on your ribbon. Quite an accomplishment in a FS. Your photo is beautiful.

I do a lot of bird photography myself, and I am curious about the darkness in this image. What time of day was this? I see the very low angle light coming from the right, but there doesn't seen to be any pink I would expect at sunrise or sunset. If you feel like it, I would love to know more about the circumstances of this shot.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I took this pretty much as is. The only thing I did to it was burn the water area some. Other than that it was how it came out of the camera. As far as the title I don't know what happened there. I thought I entered the title as "Dancing On Water" and didn't even see the title was my jpg name. Sorry for the mess up.

The light reflected off the water and the dark BG make this quite striking! Most people overexpose white birds. This one is just right.
