 If I had not joined the side challenge, "Beat your own average Knock yourself out", I would not have entered this challenge. I had no good ideas all week. So I went to the Botanic Gardens and was able to get a few good shots of these wild onions. Used a 580EX flash to illuminate the underside. The sun is to the left, cropped out, so that is why the honey bee is luminous as well. Had to get on the ground looking up for this to be successful, so I think it meets the challenge rules. Also, I used Luminosity Masks to edit this image. The inside of the flower was dark, even though I used the flash. So Tony Kuyper's website helped with this important editing. His web site ishere..

I TOTALLY love the brilliant perspective and the colors... but everything about this is Rightside Up to me.
