| Super sharp with great skin tones in the color processing. I like the environmental portrait and think that you could have used a little smaller aperture to get more of that environment to show through. |

| This is great, a nice fun shot, lovely green eyes and freckles. Looks like she's at work or something? The bokeh is perfect as it blurs what I think would be a distracting background. |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: I like quirky portraits and this is certainly that! The HDR/tone mapping works really well to add interest and the shallow DOF and popping eye colour enhance the effectiveness still further. I like the portrait-in-landscape-orientation too.
Critical stuff: I think the tongue might take it over the edge. Although it adds humour, I'm not sure the image needs it.
Overall: A bold portrait - I like that. |

| I like so much about this - depth of field, tones, expression in eyes, post processing. I really don't like her having her tongue out. Voted earlier. |
