I don't know if tomorrow I can write notes because I'll be away so I decided to write a few lines before the end of voting: thank you all for your votes and comments. This was a special challenge and I tried to make a special image. The main spiral effect has been done with the Droste plug-in for Photoshop. It simulates some of the Escher-like effects. It's not so easy to have such a clean result, I have worked on the clock (yes, at the beginning was a regular clock) for 3 hours. Then I began shooting all the characters: two fairies, the mirror, my eye in the mirror, the cup, the bicycle, my ovation guitar, the umbrella and my legs (two separated shots) and a couple of things more. The little fairy in the background was directly painted with my tablet. Only the work on shadows took at least 4 hours, both to get rid of the external shadows of the clock and to create from scratch the shadows of the characters.

I really hope Dallas liked it too :)

This was a special challenge and I can't complain. On the other hand I must say that I'm really proud of my image and I don't understand how I could get so many low votes. And above all my score dropped 0.15 in the last few hours. All I can say is an italian sentence I already used before: l'invidia è una brutta bestia :)

This is one of those shots that you really have to sit back and take it all in. Has a real fantasy feel without overdoing the photoshop. Great job!

One that definitely needs to be BIG. Really well done - very imaginative! Might be a tad "older" than 5 year old style, but just the exploration of the photograph should prove entertaining for him.

THIS IS AMAZING AND ONE OF THE BEST IMAGES FOR A CHALLENGE EVER SEEN BY ME I WISH I COULD GIVE IT AN 11 AS IT DESERVES THE HIGHEST SCORE EVER...
