 Thanks for the comments and for those who were curious how I a did this...

...to create the blur I needed the cards on two different planes so I could rotate one during the exposure while keeping the flush cards in focus.

These two set-up shots should give you all the info you need to know. If you have any questions just ask.

Great idea and nicely executed. I think what really makes this work is the balance of light between the cards in the foreground and the cards in the background. It helps the front cards really stand out.
