Greetings from the Critique Club!!
Apart from the sign in the window, this could almost be a  jagar, imho. Clearly the commenters *get* what's going on here and you're trying to stave off the creditors just a little bit longer.
A few minor compositional bugaboos...the sign is almost centred which gives a little bit of a heavy-handedness to the concept, which I don't think it needs. The arm across the man's midsection cuts things up a bit further, if he'd been more in the act of taping up the sign than barring the door afterwards I think it would have been much stronger. I do like the use of b/w though as it gives a timeless feel to this timeless dilemma.

| The challenge was to capture an image representing money without actually showing real currency. The title makes a reference to money but I feel that the image should be able to do that also without the title having to make the connection. 4 |

I cannot imagine that if you polled a thousand people, that any ONE of them, when describing this image (with or without the title) would mention the word "money".
I'm sorry... I'm just saying what I see for the challenge.
BUT!! I'm not voting... only commenting. So... GO! :D |
