Challenge: Off With Their Head! (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Pentax K-5
Lens: Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC for Pentax
Location: Snellville, GA USA
Date: Apr 15, 2012
Aperture: 7.1
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/180
Date Uploaded: Apr 15, 2012

Hope everyone gets a chuckle... some deliberate misleads in here... first, honourable with a "U". Woody dolls and "Art". Oh well, it was an artistic reason to lop off my head.

[Apr. 19th, 2012 02:20:38 AM]

I am soooo happy some people got the parody nature of the image in comparison to the real Occupy Wall Street garbage that went on last year. I certainly don't think that which people earn should be stolen from them so cavalierly.

[Apr. 22nd, 2012 11:46:01 PM]

Has been 5.9 to 5.8 for a long time then went above 6 with 5 hours to go. 15 mins left and at 5.96.

I thought my money III entry was stronger but this beat that.

Thanks everyone for the support and it was all in fun. Except for the trolls I respect everyone here. :)

Actually, the idea was 100% created for this challenge... The goal being to vent a (phony) complaint, but doing it anonymously with my head cropped off. Now you may be right that people viewed it as you suggested, but the reality is what it is. :)

I think that this being in tiny violin territory is pretty appropriate for the message of the image! :-)

A virtually perfect metaphor for our economy and the entitlement bullshit of the resentful "occupy" mob. WELL DONE!

And the best phrase on the sign ... 'from those who earned them.'

Dear 99%, your sign motivates me to do two things...correct your spelling and buy you a manicure. Thanks for the funny note. Hope this one does well for you...8

You forgot to mention about some of the 99% continuously complaining about morONEs and trolls instead of going out there and doing what it takes to win. Just like the real 99%, it's easy to complain and talk in platitudes to get the masses moving rather then doing any actual work yourself.

LOL!! What a HOOT!! Thanks for the tiny violin mention, too! :-)

If I were voting I'd give you an extra point for the irony of misspelling "demand" on your placard of demands.

I'm a generous sort. You can have one of my ribbons. Here you go. Don't spend it all in one place.

Oh, and a nice high vote for bringing a smile to my face. We need more of that and fewer wine glasses.

Good luck with that.

I've already tried it.

HA!

SUCH a fun image!
