awesome concept! i don't care for the shadow inside the tv frame too much, detracts from the effect a bit. but i'm glad you left the sky in, it defines the point of the photo in my opinion. excellent idea, well done!

Using the TV as a commercial symbol (as in your title) doesn't speak to me in the context of this picture.
However, the TV adds a very interesting second picture in this shot. I am switching between the big and small picture, and this is very interesting. |

I thought of an idea along these lines (no pun intended!) This is very clever, but something about the final composition doesn't work for me. I suspect because you felt that you needed to show more of the scene to prove that this is a real shot....
This would be cool under advanced editing, where perhaps you could desatuarate the scene within the TV.

| Great idea, but cropping out 3 sides of the tv and not the top feels a bit awkward to me - I'd either lower the angle to get more sky through the tv and crop the top, or else widen the vew a bit. |

| Great idea, but the composition is not right. I think this would look much better if you had composed this shot so that some of the 'background' is visible all the way around the TV front. |

| Very clever. Great concept. Actually a very nice image within the frame too. Color and detail and lighting, all very good. I like this shot very much. Only thing I might suggest for improvement, if possible would be to maybe lower the angle slightly, or try somehow to get the trees in the right lower so there was only sky above the tv frame. This is definitely one of my favorites of the challenge though. Nice job. |

| Very cool picture. Everything seems very consistent about the picture. It totally looks like a vintage picture from say the late sixties/early seventies. I was wondering, did you try taking a few shots with the tv monitor opening perfectly centered in the picture (i.e. crop the tv dials on the right or show more of the tv on the left)? This type of shot just seems to lend itself to using perfect symmetry. Just curious. Still a great picture though. |

| I think this would have been better without the sky at the top, it would have drawn the eye more along the rails. The sky tends to be distracting. But at least your photo has some imagination. Well done! |

Very neat.
I think I would have personally gone for a shot of just the TV, instead of all the space on top. But this is neat! I think focus on the TV could be a little sharper too. 7. |
