 Sorry for the long title - it's a nod towards some lyrics in a song by Barenaked Ladies.

I'm almost sure this image won't get voted very high, but the image reminded me a lot of my wife's job. She manages retail, and I know she gets sick of it at times. I happened to get this shot while walking through the mall (shortly after this shot I was asked to not take photos in the mall...). But I really liked the even composition, with the woman composed almost exactly at 1/3, and then this nice transition to a blue hue at 2/3. The woman is obviously very professional, and is doing her job well, by the look of the neatly organized shoes. But I'm sure she often feels like she's just trying to get sales.

Not expecting much from this, but I personally think it's interesting. Cheers!

Great composition of all the shoes and shelved. Too me the person is incidnetal to the shot. She needed to be more of the focal point and the black outfit just fades into the background

looks stalker-esque.... part of me wonders does this girl know her picture was taken ;-)

Seems almost a bit too opportunistic of a grab without much thought. Not that I don't do that - I do! But this one just doesn't quite have the story your title seems to want to tell. I see the loneliness of a shoe salesman, maybe.
