I think this would have worked a little better (imo) if the bright orange wasn't so centered. The combination of the over bright and the centered seems to hit it a little too much.

Like the path leading my eye to the pop of colour. I would prefer it if the person wasn't so centered in the image.

A gorgeous path! I do, however, wish you'd have left the person in monochrome, or the whole scene in color. The placement within the photo would be enough to direct us to them.
