This is a young orphaned Barred Owl my husband is raising (he is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. He is holding the owl for me to photograph in good sunlight. I shot the picture with a macro lens and edited the shot in Lightroom. I cropped it a little, adjusted the tone, sharpened it a little added some blacks and then made it black and white. I am an amateur trying to learn so please excuse the lack of technical terms!
