 I was fortunate to witness one of the coolest spectacles on Earth - the Aurora Borealis. It's a different matter that I had to brave -19F temperatures, but as long as Mother Nature put on her show, I was mesmerized enough to not feel the cold.

I struggled quite a bit to pick out a single image for submission out of the hundred or so I shot over 4 nights of the grandest shows this winter. This being free study, and there being quite a few very talented Icelanders on DPC, I don't expect this to do very well, but it's truly my best shot for this March.
